Biography:

In the summer of 2001, Alex and Dave left their current band due to creative differences. Soon after, Abe came into the mix and started to sit in while Alex experimented with a unique sound. His idea was to put a distortion pedal on his bass and play it like a guitar and so LaDezma was born. In the early days of LaDezma, there were no guitars. During this time, they worked on writing new songs and experimenting with this unique "double-bass" sound. Eventually, LaDezma realized that they would need to incorporate a guitar to move forward as a band, Alex dropped the bass and quickly picked up the  guitar.

As a three-piece band, LaDezma was searching for one last missing piece. They knew they needed another guitar that would allow Alex to focus more on being the dynamic front man that he is. In September 2005, after months of auditions, the "piece that was missing" was finally found. Chris officially took over as lead guitar. His determination, energy, and knowledge provided the spark to push LaDezma into a new dimension.

LaDezma has been working on their album called: “Bringing It Back.” Which showcases the band’s talent for original music along with bringing their individuality to the project and sense of humor.

A different dimension was beginning to take place.  Keeping true to their original  music, they also became a highly known cover band. Playing in places like:  Murphy’s Law at The Hard Rock in Hollywood, Dicey Riley’s, O’Malley’s Sports Bar, Premier  Billiards, Jesse’s Xtreme Sports Bar, and other known places LaDezma has gone forward and made a name out for themselves in the local scene. Their style of playing cover music is unique and uplifting. While on stage the band’s energy and showmanship comes through like a freight train.
